分出行貨呔同水貨呔 (盡量更新) How to distinguish Authorized Official and Parallel Imported Tyres

黎緊盡可能都會更新唔同牌子既行同水貨既分別.


個人覺得, 用行貨貼紙做識別始終都唔夠準, 最好就係寫埋張收據証明埋條呔係行貨咁就冇問題啦. 

📢(2025年6月18日更新): 
越黎越多行貨輪胎做番保養. 例如輪胎"生仔", 可以向代理申請索償一條全新輪胎 (受條款及細則約束)

現時有額外的行貨保養:

所謂行貨, 其實同出面大部分商業行業一樣, 係該牌子公司給予另一間公司成為代表佢, 以佢既地位 批發輪胎. (即現時所講既 代理, 或總代理). 係汽車行業入面, 通常只有一間可以成為代理. 因為代理都只係代表佢背後既公司, 所以有啲決定權都不在於代理身上. 包括我地本應以為買行貨就會有既保養.

水貨輪胎, 並非假輪胎. 同樣都是同一公司製造廠製造. 製造輪胎成本係非常貴. 所以無可能會有人舍得出超過一千萬本金去製造假輪胎. 未經該牌子批准該公司發售所以叫水貨. 概然唔批準, 點解幾十年來, 都仲有水貨輪胎的存在? 呢個就俾大家去考量下.

水貨呔製造地點有時與行貨可能不一樣. 如, 行水貨製造地點都是歐洲製. 但行貨可能是法國製, 水貨可能是墨西哥製, 反之亦然.

現時行貨有額外保養牌子: 馬牌 Continental, 石橋 Bridgestone, Dunlop, Goodyear
其他牌子既保養為品質保養. 即落左地後可能第一日就見呔紋位置隆起. 但檢驗及最後決定權係總代理手上. 並沒有提及呢啲保養係幾耐. Kenda 建大就有12個月.


(2024年12月23日更新):
近日水貨電器懷疑出現假貨, 可能又令到唔少人對於水貨輪胎產生左會唔會有假貨. 所以我決定幫大家搵一搵過去事件, 除左有一單好似睇落似係假貨但其實係有關於個牌子模具懷疑被間廠用左, 其他所有都係有關用相似牌子名稱及抄襲呔紋.

1) 北美米芝蓮告 Tri-Ace 抄襲其品牌 BFGoodrich 呔紋

2) 東洋(Toyo) 告 Toyama 抄襲其品牌名稱 (商標)

3) 石橋 (Bridgestone) 告 模仿其商標 "Bridgestone" (呢單係中國判石橋嬴)

4)Pegasus Advanta SUV 並非由獲授權的廠商製造 (說是模具被偷) [過往曾經是獲授權的廠商]

仲有更多, 但都係模仿牌子名, 抄呔紋設計. 反而呢啲係香港都有時候見唔少, 但肯定唔係假冒牌子或假輪胎. 
另外我更肯定, 香港9成車主買呔都唔知有分行同水貨. 二手車買番黎更加冇可能判斷到是否行貨/水貨.

其實如果唔信間呔鋪, 一開始就唔好幫襯. 因為一開始您都唔信, 之後所講既野您都唔會聽得入耳. 買左個擔憂番黎行幾年, 又何必呢?

其實小弟仲有樣野係冇講到出黎有關行貨同水貨呔, 而我暫時唔會講住的. 等遲的差唔多時候就會講俾大家知嫁啦.

There is a Chinese version of this post, and I realize that I should have made the English version for this as well such that the English speaking Hong Kong residents are aware of the authorized official tyre as compared to parallel imported tyre (aka grey market products) in the current Hong Kong market.

There are more than 20 different brands in Hong Kong, and I will try to update with photos as much as possible.

I personally advise car owners / drivers to request a receipt, stating that the tyre is authorized official tyre to ensure the product information. Simply using the photos as depicted below where sole agent paste the label does not help a lot in the differentiation.

(28th Nov, 2024 Update): 
Authorized Official, just like any other commercial industry, refers to the authorization of that particular (brand) company given to the agent to represent on behalf of them, and in which supply/sell that brand. (normally known as Sole Agent in the tyre industry). Because of that, not all decision can be made by the sole agent, including the "warranty" that we believe we expected to have after purchasing the Authorized Official.

Parallel Imported tire, is not counterfeit tire. Those are manufactured from the exact same factory. It's impossible to counterfeit a tire as the cost of production is extremely high. Without authorization of selling the product is aka parallel imported goods. Since it is not authorized, why such goods can still be sold in the market for more than 5 decades?

Parallel imported tire manufacture place sometimes is different from the authorized official. Both side may manufacture in Europe, but might be in different places. The Authorized one could be in France, and the parallel imported could be in Mexico, or vice versa.

Authorized Official brands that let you enjoy "extra" warranty include: Continental , Bridgestone, Dunlop, Goodyear.

Other brands are quality warranty, in which cases like the new installed tyre have a bulb at the tread area on the first few days or so. (which happened to one or two China brands before). Inspection and final decisions lie on the hands of the sole agent. None mentioned about such warranty period. Only Kenda tyre had 12 months on it.

(23 Dec, 2024 update)
A recent parallel imported appeared to be counterfeit electronic products may raise some people awareness if it could happen on the tyre industry as well. Hence, I decided to find out any counterfeit tyre happens in the past, with only one that looks alike but not exactly counterfeit.

1) North America Michelin file lawsuit against Tri-Ace for copying BFGoodrich tread pattern design

2) Toyo file lawsuit against Toyama for copying trademark

3) Bridgestone file lawsuit against its similar trademark "Bridgestone" (in China)

4)Pegasus Advanta SUV was manufactured by an unauthorized manufacturer (tyre mold said to be stolden) [manufacturer was authorized in the past]

        There are more cases like these only for copying or imitating the brand name or copying the tread pattern design. Tread pattern design looks really similar even with tyres sold in Hong Kong. But there are none that are counterfeited. 
    Besides, I can assure that most vehicle owners do not know there are authorized and parallel imported tyres. And it cannot be found out if the tyres are authorized or parallel imported when tyres are already installed and used.

Some years back, a person who installed Michelin at another tyre store, send me an image to ask for verification if his installed tire is authorized official. Why not just ask Michelin HK directly?
If you do not trust that tire store at the first place, you should not patronize it. Your distrust will block any convincing reason. You bought a "worry" from the store and last for a few years. Why should you do that?

買車記得睇下部車有冇呔匙


稍後更新更多

(而小弟第一次整車起初其實都唔知有呔匙呢樣野) 部分既車既螺絲, 其中一粒 / 全部係用一的特別既花紋去設計, 需要用呔匙先可以鬆螺絲. 就好似需要鎖匙 (呔匙) 先可以開到門 (螺絲)

作用就係防止有人偷車呔.

由於花紋設計可以有唔同既款, 所以冇左個匙就麻煩, 因為並非間間呔鋪都有晒所有花紋既款. 小弟就係其中一個冇呢的呔匙. ops. 款色太多, 都唔知邊隻會岩個個螺絲.


之前又咁岩有車主搵唔到呔匙. 連補呔都拆唔到出黎補. 最近又有一個.

所以, 如果您係用緊需要呔匙既螺絲, 岩岩諗住買車既您, 或者已經買左車但唔知係咪用緊呢的花紋螺絲, 咁您可能要望一望睇下, 特別係其中一粒既螺絲係咪比較唔同, 有冇呔匙跟車啦

Tyrehood Zone - 如何幫附近既車主


當有司機需要搵幫忙既時候, 就會彈出個notification 睇下有冇人可以幫到佢手.

(係apps 既menu入面既 "附近需要幫助" 都可以望到有邊的人係地圖上面想搵人幫手)


標誌上面有寫到當時人所發出既資料 - 車既位置 同 佢想要既野

如圖所示, 如果佢想希望有人幫到佢現場補呔, 但係您可能只識得幫到佢換後備呔既時候, 您都可以提出您點幫到佢手, 睇下對方會唔會都考慮埋呢個方案. (因為唔係個個都有補呔料係車到)



之後揀您可以點幫到佢手, 如果您唔駛人地俾錢, 都可以係 "提出價錢" 既位置入面輸入 0 嫁



之後就等佢覆


佢覆確認後, 就可以出發搵佢救佢啦


如果佢搵左另外一個人幫手, 咁就會番去個頁面到, 會有信息彈出黎話佢已經搵到幫手了.

到達地點幫完佢之後, 記得係個程或上禁番 "完成", 如果未搞點, 禁番個 "未完成"


咁如果附近真係冇人幫到手咁點算?

已家開始寫緊專俾專業救車公司同拖車既公司既應用程式, 等佢地報價俾車主仲更加易的, 俾車主多一個選擇, 就算搵唔到其他車主救, 都可以搵佢地做左好耐既救車公司救.

Tyrehood Zone - 爆呔用app搵幫手

如何使用

(注: 暫時只岩俾私家車同輕型貨車)
當寫呢個apps 既時候, 盡量諗左唔同既方法希望幫到車主爆呔既時候應該可以點樣搵幫手. 諗左好幾個情況. 可能大家第一次真係用既時候唔係好知應該揀咩 "請求" 係個apps 到先, 特別係當您見到只係條呔扁左, 因為有好多既方法其實幫到您. 最好可以講多少少係備注到, 俾其他人知有咩方法可以幫到您

必須填上請求, 汽車類型及手提電話

請求選擇:

補呔     -- 您見到有明顯既 物件如釘 吉左入條呔到

充呔氣 -- 隔左一日之後您開車前見到條呔扁晒, 或者您行行下突然發現扁左, 但又見唔到有明                   顯既物件吉入條呔到,  可能搵人借個打氣既儀器 (因為油站又唔係你附近, 或者你驚                   你捱唔到過去.)

更換後備呔 -- 您車上有後備呔但係唔識換.
                         (注: 必須留意車上的後備呔是否有呔氣, 如果冇既話, 都可以試下用既, 如果要                             比較到底用冇氣既後備呔, 定係用現在車用緊既冇氣呔. 如果您而家用緊個條                                呔反正都冇乜呔紋既, 就唔駛換, 直接換新呔算吧)

借電撻車 -- 其實同車呔冇乜關係, 不過有不少車主走黎我地鋪到問可唔可以借電去撻車. 最                           常出現都係朝早既情況. 您明的.

借後備呔 -- 您覺得就算充呔氣都係冇用, 都係捱唔到過去附近呔鋪/車房補呔, 想換後備呔但係                      又冇 (Yes. 由不知幾多年開始既BMW, Tesla, 同某的車都已經冇後備呔, 因為話要減                       輕重量, 同埋轉用防爆呔就得嫁啦.)

拖車 --         您身處既位置係又冇呔鋪, 又冇車房, 又冇乜其他車主係到可以借到後備呔(仲要係                       如果佢地有的話). 打氣又冇用, 因為(覺得)條呔好快又漏氣 , 特別係見到條呔已經                         見到鋼線


當然, 想要既野, 唔一定有, 如想搵人可以黎現場補呔, 但唔係所有車主都有佢一套既補呔用具係車到. 但係佢地可以用其他方法(如有個打氣既儀器)幫到您打住氣頂住先, 都可以一樣係個apps 到揀到. 唔一定只係可以揀到您請求既野.


最重要講既係, 個apps 係免費俾大家用的. 只要我仲做緊呔鋪, 都仲可以用的.

有的咩意見可以改進個apps, 話俾小弟知, 俾的時間我改改.

利用Tyrehood Zone, 司機互相幫忙, 打呔氣, 撻車 或者救車, 拖車, 等問題


Tyrehood Zone - 救車 app 既來源 

係上年一直努力研究緊的hardware 既野時候, 發現其實有不少車主都睇小車呔爆呔既問題 (我指既係, 不少車主都仲繼續係冇呔氣既情況下行駛). 所以小弟把心一橫, 一於先做個apps 出黎, 反正都要寫apps先. 就出左個救車apps 先, 之後再繼續做hardware 既野.


先講下, 如果條呔冇氣 或者"爆呔" 但您照繼續行車時可能會發生既事:

1) 呔肚開始出現一條黑色既圓周線
呢條線(紅色箭頭所指) 係一個警告, 行緊呢條車呔已經唔係靠呔入面既空氣支撐車既重量了. 已係用緊車呔兩邊既力支撐住.


(唔記得影細呔, 先用住大呔做參考)

2a)  "內傷"
當出現左黑色既圓周線, 幼幼地既黑色圓周線就會變得越大. 車呔入面開始甩膠粉. 越多就傷得越重. 如果拆呔出黎既話, 有機會見到呔既鋼線.

出現呢個情況, 視車呔傷既程度. 通常補完之後都仲行到. 但係唔會行得好耐. 個支撐重量會有機會減弱左. 同最主要既係, 如果又爆呔自己又唔覺既時候行車, 咁好大機會就出現 2b 既情況了

2b) 呔肚分離
當係冇氣既情況下行駛左好長既距離 (幾多我就唔清楚啦), 鋼線己經支撐唔到引致斷裂, 呔肚就會被扯開.

遇過既人通常都唔想再發生第二次. 因為真係好可怕, 特別係行高速公路仲可怕.




2c) 生"仔"
可能呔肚未分離, 但係就凸左個波型既出黎 (可能係呔肚或呔紋位置, 當呔內有氣既時候先會出), 代表個個位置既鋼線斷裂, 隨時會爆. 最重要留意係, 千萬唔好篤佢, 因任何既壓力都可能會令佢爆, 令到自己及途人受傷. 如果您係冇氣既情況下走左去補呔, 咁自己就要留意下唔好行咁埋)

開呔鋪, 要換呔先真係賺到錢. 所以見車主對於忽視呢的問題其實對我地黎講係一件好事. 不過我自己就想做多步去令大家可以都再用耐少少車呔. 至少可以環保的, 所以就出左呢個 Tyrehood Zone 俾大家用.

新呔放前定放後好? Should you place the new tire to front or rear?

好耐都未出post, 最近忙於趕project, 就黎完成, 不如出下post 又講下車呔既野.

平時大家換新呔都係將新呔放前, 其實我自己都冇好研究呢樣野, 直至有個客同我講, 佢想要新呔放後面. 話我知因為新呔放後, 安全過放前面 (睇左個video 之後). 之後我就開始研究下呢樣野, 到底放前定放後好呢?


先俾大家睇下, 唔同既車呔制做商對於車呔放前定放後好既實驗. (可以睇下面, 綜合所講既野)

綜合上面講既野, 新呔放後面既原因
A. 米芝蓮話實驗做出, 放新呔係前面, 如果開得太快令到甩尾, 部車會失控

B. 錦湖話, 因為understeer (轉向不足) 同 oversteer (轉向過度)會出現, 正常控制轉彎其實好少出現, 所以將新呔放係後面, 前呔(即舊的既呔) 咬力不大, 發生轉向不足時, 會易的轉番入黎. 如果前呔咬力大, 轉彎會更貼地, 就比較難轉番入黎 (唔知咁會唔會令大家明白的).
同樣, 發生轉向過度, 後尾會向前沖. 但新呔咬力比較大, 所以當剎車時, 後呔冇咁易失去咬力向前沖

(而大部分既車都係前輪驅動, 制做商都將呢的車整到較易轉向不足)

轉向不足同轉向過度既原因我就唔詳細講啦, 下次再講

新呔放前面既原因

A. 台灣被訪問既個位, 話因為放係前呔先會較易控制車既左右


睇左咁多樣野之後. 自己既感覺係
1. 米芝蓮既實驗唔係好說服到點解後呔要裝新呔. 因為做個實驗兩次, 兩次都係唔同既環境條件做. (車速同控制既條件). 第一次新呔放後就好普通咁渣個圈, 第二次新呔放前, 就叫人係咁加速, 成個條件都唔同晒. 

如果新呔放係後呔, 其實前呔都有機會因咬加不足而失控. 用方向盤想轉去其他方向, 其實都可能救唔到, 因為前呔咬唔到地, 轉唔到你想去既個一邊 

2. 錦湖既講法相信係令人較易明白同合理. 佢提出當發生呢兩者既關係時, 後呔係新呔會冇咁易出事. 講到好多車都會較左會轉向不足, 呢個會較易說服到人

3. 新呔放前呔, 的確係會轉向較易控制, 相信呢個大家都認同, 因為大家都會將新呔放前呔.


總結

因為大家都身處係香港, 香港一般, 唔係高速公路, 通常都只係去到60公里/小時. 高速就100 - 120公里/小時. 趕時間既就去到100(非高速), 180 - 200 公里/小時, 相信都會有的人都會咁做的.

最好換晒4條新呔
其實呢個係廢話. 不過想帶出個點係, 渣到咁上下, 最後將前呔換番去後面, 後呔換番上黎, 咁條呔會耐用左. (因前呔會蝕得快過後呔). 到時4條都可以一齊換


如果換2條既話, 因為另外個2條可能換左冇耐

平時如果你開得慢, 新呔放係後呔可能會較岩你. 
反正都開得唔係好快, 好似我咁. 轉向不足(渣得太快轉彎會出現)既出現會好好好底 . 轉向過度既情況反而都有機會發生, 因為尾車太輕, 轉彎就有可能沖前

但係如果另外個2條呔其實而經好舊, 如用左3年以上, 但又覺得深紋唔想換, 咁我又會建議番新呔放前. 因為舊呔開始有機會老化, 爆呔機會大左.

平時如果你開得好好好快(其他快過我既, 我都覺得好好好快 XD ,  新呔放係前呔可能會較岩你.
因為開車快更加需要前呔既控制. 因為甩尾既情況都好少見到. (當然都有機會) 

所以開得快既, 就最好換晒4條呔. 正所謂, 工欲善其事,必先利其器, 頭文字D - Project D , 每場比賽都會換新呔嫁. :)))))

It's being some time since I posted something out when I am still busy with project. The project is progressing still okay, maybe it's time to post something out.

Drivers normally put new tyres in front, and I don't really research more on this kind of thing, until when a customer told me that he wants to put the new tyres at the back, and told me that putting the new tyres at the back is safer than putting them in front (after watching a video). Perhaps it's time for me to research more about it.

To conclude the above why putting new tyres at the rear
A. Michelin experiment showed that putting new tyre at the front will cause oversterring / spinning when you are driving too fast while turning 

B. Kumho mentions that understeering and oversteering may occur and normal handling to steer (most of the time) will not happen. If you put new tyre at the rear, when understeering happens, you can steer back to the track (when front tyre does not meet maximium grip). If the front tyre is new tyre and meeting the maximium grip, it won't be easy to turn back to the track.

Likewise, in the cause of oversteering, rear tyre have a tendency to push to the front. If you put new tyres at the rear, you will have better trip at the rear. Hence, the rear (new) tyre will not lose grip easily when braking 

Furthermore, most of the cars are FWD, manufacturer setup the car to make understeering easily


To conclude putting new tyre in front 

A. The technicians (in Taiwan) said that driver can have better control of the car


My opinions on the video and research
1. Michelin experiment is not persuasive enough as both experiment were not in the same driving condition (speed and control). Because the driver is asked to keep accelerating in the second round of testing, when new tyre is put in front.

If I assume the same condition, putting new tyre at the rear may cause the car to crash as well as the front tyre does not have enough grip .

2. Kumho research is easier to understand and more persuasive. 

3. It's understatement that putting new tyre in front will have better control, as most of us (drivers like you) normally put new tyres in front.


Conclusion

We are in Hong Kong after all. Driver may speed up until 60km/hr (not in high way), or up to 100 - 120 km/hr (highway). Some may be in a hurry, and speed up to 180 - 200 km/hr

Change all tyres to new one
So you won't have to think much about the old ones. And the main point I want to bring out is, it's better to have your car tyres swap from front to rear, and rear to front after driving sometime, (as your front tyre will rear off faster than your rear). In this case, tyres can be used longer, and you can have all your 4 tyres changed to a new one at the same time


If you still want to change 2 tyres because the other 2 just changed not long ago

Putting new tyre at the rear may suit you if you are driving at normal speed like below 70km/h (not at high way)
Since you are not driving fast like me, the probability of understeering occurs is low. On the flip side, probability of oversteering is higher than understeering due to lighter weight at the rear.


Putting new tyre in front may suit you if you are driving fast.
Driving fast require better grip and control. Though the occur of oversteering is uncommon (in HK). And of course it still have a chance to occur

As a result, it's still better to change all your tires to new one if you are driving fast. 
As the adages goes, if you want to do better things, you will require better equipment. Just like Initial D - Project D, they change all new tyres in every race. :)))))))))))
